Real Estate Land Use Specialist
Dr. Whitney has over 32 years of domestic and international real estate planning and development experience. Dr. Whitney founded Whitney & Whitney, Inc., a real estate advisory firm serving the real estate development industry and government. Dr. Whitney works as a special advisor to BSG, focusing on unique real estate land use issues, redevelopment, privatization, urban entertainment center master planning and economic analysis. Given the complex nature of arena and stadium project development, Dr. Whitney provides an invaluable asset in the overall planning process. Dr. Whitney earned a Ph.D. in Urban Land Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Whitney received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College. Prior to forming Whitney & Whitney, he was with Arthur Andersen for nine years. Prior to that, Dr. Whitney owned and managed several real estate and economic consulting firms in California. Dr. Whitney has extensive experience in the planning and development of a variety of land uses.
